•••Introducing Baby "J"•••

Please meet baby "J". You might recognize baby J's family from a few months ago from Mrs. B's maternity shoot. A few weeks ago baby J finally made his arrival and this week he had his first official photo shoot. :) My poor husband...I have talked non-stop about how sweet and adorable baby J was. Today was probably the worst. We are traveling this weekend and we had a two hour delay at the airport so Justen got a full force of baby fever while I was editing these pictures. But who wouldn't have baby fever looking at them? :)
Such a proud daddy!
Sweet little baby hands...I love how he was sleeping but still needed to hold onto his mommy.

•••Meet Mr. F•••

Mr. F is just the cutest thing ever!! He is the son of some close friends of ours and I would steal him away in a heart beat. Over the last few months Mr. F has been shy around me and once he even burst into tears when I walked into the room, so I was a little nervous as to how the shoot would go. I would hate for my friends to have pictures of their child crying because he is terrified of that mean nasty photographer lady they keep bringing around. But I am happy to say we had a breakthrough. Mr. F walked right up to me and hugged me and then we bonded over milk and pumpkin bread. It was going to be a good day!
Mr. F loves his puppy Reese. He hugged her and hugged her and Miss Reese is great. She just let him, well... because I think she loves him too. :)
Isn't this the neatest toy?? Mr. F got this fire engine for his birthday and it was so adorable. If I was just a little smaller I would have hopped right on.
Peek-a-Boo...I see you!!!

•••Kids On Marriage•••

I know I have been a bad blogger lately. Hopefully later today I will have a bunch of pictures to share with you all, but until then I thought I would share this funny forward I just received. :) Enjoy!

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY? (Written by kids)
(1) You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming. - Alan, age 10
(2) No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with. - Kristen, age 10

WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?
(1) Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then. - Camille, age 10
(2) No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married. - Freddie, age 6 (very wise for his age)

HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?
(1) You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids. - Derrick, age 8

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MUM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?
(1) Both don't want any more kids. - Lori, age 8

WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?
(1) Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough. - Lynnette, age 8 (isn't she a treasure)
(2) On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date. - Martin, age 10

WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR?
(1) I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns. -Craig, age 9

WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?
(1) When they're rich. - Pam, age 7
(2) The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that. - Curt, age 7
(3) The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do. - Howard, age 8

IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED?
(1) It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them. - Anita, age 9 (bless you child)

HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN'T GET MARRIED?
(1) There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there? - Ricky, age 8

And the #1 Favourite is........ HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?
(1) Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck. - Kelvin, age 10

•••New & Improved•••

I wanted to let you guys know that I have updated some features on my website! The old client ordering system was confusing a lot of people so we have updated to a much better and easier system that can be viewed in the "Online Proofing" link on my website. Hopefully this will make orders easier for both you and I! Soon you will be able to purchase products and gift cards through this function as well! :)

Hopefully more fun stuff coming soon! I will keep you all posted!

•••Cough, Cough•••

...sniffle, sniffle. :(  Hay fever is kicking my little photographer tushie! Hope everyone else isn't bothered and is enjoying this fabulous Fall weather!! :)

•••The "T" Family Preview•••

Meet the "T" family. I met them last weekend at Marietta Square for a family shoot, and we had a big surprise when we got there! The Marietta Book Fair was in full swing! Yikes! We were able to work around it and get some great shots though! Also, it was kind of fun with the music and cute Fall decorations. Other than it being a big distraction it worked out perfectly. :) Hope you guys enjoy the preview!

Such a cute brother and sister!

•••The "B" Family Preview•••

I was very excited to meet the "B" family. They had contacted me from out of state and were visiting one of my mommies to be from last month and wanted to have some portraits done while they were in town. I was so excited to meet another part of the family! They were the cutest ever and so sweet! Look how cute these two are holding hands! :)
Young Mr. B was such the model. He was great at posing and had the PRETTIEST green eyes (the blog doesn't do them justice)!
This picture was my favorite from this session. I love how sweet she looks here in her white dress...
And how fun is this? Little Miss B was so funny! Every time she would laugh she would cover her mouth like this. It was too cute for words and her giggle was infectious. I had a hard time not shaking the camera from giggling with her.
Mrs. B got in front of the camera as well. She was the most adorable mom and I would never have known she was due in a few weeks herself (aside from her belly). She seemed so energetic!
And she had the cutest belly!

•••The "R" Family Preview•••

Last week I met the "R" family at Wills Park. Such a fun place for such a fun family! You could tell this family truly loved each other and had tons of fun together! It was so sweet to watch them play on the playground with one another or giggle and hug each other. I was so excited that I got to capture all of their special moments together. Here is a quick preview of some of their super cute pictures. Hope you guys enjoy!

•••A Stroll in the Park•••

Last week I met Mrs. O, her daughter, and her granddaughter for a fun park photo shoot. We went to the Duluth Town Green and I had such a fun time. These three were so adorable and were so easy for me to photograph! It was also a beautiful Fall night...I think it was the first time that it hit me that Fall is here. The air was so crisp and cool that we had to put some jackets on. I went home and promptly ordered myself a new pair of warm toasty boots and a new winter coat. Maybe a little drastic, but I like to be prepared, and lets face it, I am a baby when it comes to cold weather. :)
A cute one with the whole family. Aren't they adorable?
Miss A loved her mommy so much!
Miss A found these fun stairs and at first was going to play hard to get with her cute smile, but then...
...she gave me this great face! :)
Mrs. O brought her granddaughter all this cute stuff to play with! She had this antique rocker and hot pink feather boa, and a fun trunk filled with stuff for a tea party. It looked like so much fun!
As the sunset and night time started rolling in, the park lit up with fun lights. It was so pretty!

•••The "S" Family Preview•••

I met the "S" family in Madison, GA as well. They are very good friends with the "L" family so we made a whole morning of it. The family that owns the farm that we took pictures on is actually a close family friend, and both Mr. S and Mr. L grew up hanging out on the farm occasionally. I can imagine all the fun they had as kids - it was such a great place!

Mrs. S brought her grandma and mom along for a couple generation pictures. Isn't this sweet? Four generations all in one picture!
After a few pictures with just the girls we decided it was time to get Mr. S in on the action!

Check out these sexy pics! For a brief few moments Mr. and Mrs. S got some alone time...

At the last minute I thought I would include this picture. I thought it was a sweet moment with big sister trying to console little sister... I know my two little sisters are probably reading this right now thinking where was that kindness when we were growing up?? :)

•••The "L" Family Preview•••

I met the "L" family at this beautiful farm in Madison, GA. It was so pretty and had so many different elements to it that we could have stayed there all day taking pictures! Well I could have...I think Miss M and Mr. T would have gotten tired of me. :)

I thought I would start this post off with a tutu pic. I know you guys know my fascination with tutu pics by now. :) To top it off this little cutie even had a matching flower headband. So adorable!
Ok, next up is my FAVORITE picture of this session. I don't know what it is about it but I loved this proof the moment I saw it. Mr. and Mrs. "L" look so happy and in love...

And because I laugh in the face of danger, we took some pictures on the railroad tracks. Well, not really, but they make for such good pictures! A train came about twenty minutes before so I thought we were safe. :)

•••Pink Passion•••

Happy Friday everyone! Whew this has been a looooooooooooong and busy week...I am ready for the weekend!!! (can you feel my enthusiasm). Well this morning I was driving into work and had the radio on. No, this time I wasn't gracing my fellow commuters with my finely tuned singing skills. Sometimes in the mornings I give my voice a rest in preparation for the even longer commute home, and listen to the Bert Show on Q100. The Bert Show has a little bit of everything - news, traffic, entertainment buzz and most importantly the calls from Atlantan's plotting revenge on their Ex's. :) This morning, however, they brought something very important to my attention...

This month is national Breast Cancer Awareness month. Breast cancer has affected millions of our nation's mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends. I can't believe I had forgotten such an important event...especially one that promotes pink things all month long! But at least I can do something about it now. Here are some information websites that I thought I would share with everyone:
The Bert Show mentioned that this weekend there is a special event for Brides! It is called Pink Passion for Fashion. It is this Sunday, October 5th at the Holiday Inn Atlanta/Roswell from 1:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. They will be selling high end designers gowns for brides, mother of the brides, bridesmaids, flower girls, etc. for discounted prices. Gowns range from $99-$799! And all purchases will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation's Atlanta chapter. To view more details about the event go to: http://www.treasuresformals.com/pinkpassionforbridalfashion.htm

Also, to help celebrate At First Sight Photography will donate 10% of it total proceeds for the month of October to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
